Hi everyone, well went to Arizona last August cause got a phone call
from my neice Dona Jenkins. She called to invite me to her wedding
on her mothers birthday (JOJO GRAHAM) August 29th.
Dona got married to Lonnie Franks of Apache Junction, AZ.
While I was there, I spent some time with Both Kim and Donas children.
Jimmy Christopher Hernandez, Donas son and I Walked Dona down the
walkway at JOJOs house. Agood time was had by all afterwards.
Jojo underwent cataract surgery the folling wednesday. Chris left and
went back to Bremerton Wash. where he is stationed , and I left on Sept
4th to come home to get used to humidity again...The temperature
while I was in Az. was between 104 and 110 the whole time I was there.
Thata all the information I have for now, so hope everyone is fine and
doing well. But if yall aren't, well I will add yall into my prayers,
OK???

Talked to JOJO today, Joanne McVeigh fell at home and hurt her back.
Home nurse was at door to check on her, and called police and ambulance
to help her. She is in hospital in Brunswick. Direct phone
number to room is 1-912-466-2488.. She will be there for a few weeks.

To all of you who attended the 29th annual reunion, you helped make it
a successful reunion despite all the problems with the rooms &
reservations-but then when didn't we have some sort of confusion every year? We
always adapt and move on!!!

Next year, we will have a chinese auction to raise funds for the family
treasury!! A chinese auction is an auction where no one but YOU
knowswhat your bid is unless you tell them. With each item, there will be a
box, an envelope, and a 3x5 index card to put your bid on the item you
would like to have...You put your name, room number and what your bid
is, seal the envelope, and pu it in the box beside the item. at the
meeting we will let you know who had the highest bid, and then you pay for
the item. Easy huh?

We are asking the 9 canady families to bring (i) gift per family, that
way we get 9 quality gifts, not 30 items that won't make money for
the treasury...for example, Willa steinhausers family unit brings ONE
quality gift, as does Madeline West family and my family unit, and so
on- For example, mine will be a GONE WITH THE WIND blanket, a
2 video deluxe edition set of the movie & a 3D puzzle; put a $40
minimum bid to start with and go from there...IF this works out, it
could be a keeper for years to come. Give it a try and lets see what
happens-OK?

In closing, I would like to welcome the WILLIAM SCOTT family to our
ever growing family. They found us on the internet and Bill came that
saturday and despite our efforts to drive him crazy with our nutty
antics, he was a great edition to the clan...

Next year is election year-again! looking forward to seeing you there,
